Here is another possible format. I am looking to move to a strategy role at another firm, so I don’t want to draw unnecessary attention to the fact that I have worked primarily in the implementation space.
I’d say go with this format for any role. The projects are things you did in the role clarifying based on client doesn’t give any additional depth of information I feel like

I’ve always grouped by project. Makes it more readable, and that’s how I talk about it during the interview (so they’ll be able to track what I’m saying against my resume).
There isn’t one standard, just my $.02!
Agree with your first one. Grouping by project is a great way to show a depth of experiences across industries or perhaps a concentration of one.
Useful in a interview too... "when I was working for a fortune 500 bank on the east coast..."

Idk since I’m applying to industry, I do the first one since putting them together all as one like the 2nd seems to confuse them and they think its all for one role (which theoretically it is, it’s all the stuff you did as an analyst but not necessarily at the same time)
