Get exposure to those clients or tax situations and then research those areas.

Read the instructions for all forms, schedules, etc… you prepare on a daily basis and then read the Internal Revenue Code sections, Treasury Regulations, Publications referenced in said instructions. Also read the TDs (Treasury Decisions) referenced. Then put time on a manager/partners calendar to discuss anything you feel is relevant. Learning new topics will then come naturally as you gain experience.

I'm looking to update my portfolio for the first time since going brand side, and as CD. Since I left the agency life I don't feel life I have that "wow look at this cool shit", nor is a reel of tv where I'm bringing value every day as a leader. Any examples or advice on how and what to show at the next level?

Hi all! I recently finished my Masters in Biology. I worked on a few studies with human subjects as well as animal work. I am hoping to get a job in clinical research as either a CRC or CRA. I previously worked at a doctors office as a care manager for 4 years, but outside of my academic work I don’t have experience in research. What advice do you all have for entering the field in my position?
Thanks!!
