What is the best way to get into biotech VC without an advanced degree?

Decade+ in and realizing I would rather be either in pure play brand consulting (like an Interbrand) or in consumer/culture advisory (deeper thought leadership, trends, consulting, like a Gartner or a WGSN ish) than stay in ad agencies working on campaign development. Has anyone made a pivot like this successfully? I feel like I am at a point where there are some skills or experiences those worlds require that I haven’t been able to “go deep” on, consistently in agency brand planning world.

Hi everyone! I’m in MedDevice industry with close to 10yrs experience (3yrs scientist, 6.5yrs Regulatory affairs). Looking for advice, I’m considering going to law school. Is there a demand in the industry for JDs with STEM/Reg background. It seems like a highly specialized area. I’m hesitant to pursue a JD to end up writing regulatory submissions/510ks which I can already do without a law degree. Or, end up in other legal fields outside MedDev Regulatory/Compliance.

Curious about non-US attorneys: are you working the crazy hour weeks most of us in the US do? Or are your weeks closer to 40 hours?
