There are a few online courses that might be good. Go with a popular one. You can also test remotely now - https://www.shrm.org/certification/apply/Pages/testing-options.aspx

I would do it online! There are many online courses offered that you can do to get certified. Much easier than it used to be.

I just passed the SHRM-CP exam Feb15.
Use the link HR Gen 1 shard below to determine your eligibility and which test you should take.
Take a Prep-Course & Practice Tests, review the SHRM Bask, YouTube & Google for researching topics you’re less familiar with AND Study…Study…Study, It’s not a “wing it” test. I tested at home via remote proctoring and had no issues.
Also, I used HR Topics for my prep course, they provided free practice test from Exam Edge. Best of luck!!

What resources helped you get into product marketing/Google?
Has anyone here moved from advertising to tech?
Would love to hear from a marketer about their experience getting into Google.

AITA? my manager came in today coughing up a lung and she sits at the desk right next to me. She says she doesn't think she has COVID but doesn't want to test because if it is positive then she has to quarantine. I asked her to wear a mask if she's in the office with me and she said no. I went to the director and basically said that either she goes home or I go home.

I need to approach a manager who has received several comments that there is perceived favoritism. They have a team of hard, strong workers who have been with the company for years. A great new employee was hired several months ago with a strong technical skillset. The manager constantly praises this employee in front of the rest of their team, and consistently says comments like, "(New employee)" is the best person EVER to do this task!" making colleagues feel like their previous work in successfully getting that task done for years is unvalued. Any advice for how you would approach the manager, or how you would advise the employees who are submitting complaints?

Okay, so we have all heard about quiet quitting and now we have the retaliation from corporate America, called Quiet Firing. Has anyone heard about this? Managers will make an employee's life/job much harder to try to get them to crack under pressure and quit?
