Don’t take on more than you can chew. Build your shadow network of people you can leverage and only go after work that you can deliver/have people who can support in your behalf. Be mindful of your current level and the level up requirements and fine tune your performance only when you are closer to the next level transition unless you want to get burnt out.
I’ve been successfully using the “Get Things Done” method for 10+ years to ruthlessly prioritize my work and juggle it all. There are books, apps and blog posts that explain GTD well. Read up and then take what’s useful.

Accept that some people will be slower. Set them up for success.
Start with smaller tasks. Before taking on huge responsibilities ease yourself into more advanced work by trying smaller tasks. Get to know how to do this work first, and work your way up to more complex responsibilities. Starting small can also help you ensure you have enough time in your schedule to keep adding on new work. It also helps you understand what you can physically and mentally handle in a workday.
You should maintain good communication. Employees want to be kept in the loop about ongoing projects, goals, and deadlines, so it’s essential that you communicate well with them and inform them about goings-on within the organization. It’s also essential that you encourage feedback and that your staff feel that they can approach you with any questions or issues they want to address, so making yourself accessible to your staff is critical.
Delegate jobs to the right people. Part of why it is vital that you establish a relationship with your team and get to know them individually is so you can assess what their strengths are. People perform better and are more engaged in roles where they feel they are employing their best skills, so delegating proper functions that suit each will have a significant impact on the productivity of the team.
Just be real. Your team doesn’t expect you to be superhuman, so if you’re feeling the pressure and need a helping hand, don’t be afraid to admit it and if you make a mistake, own up! By showing the human side of yourself and allowing your staff to get to know you a bit better, your team will feel more relaxed and comfortable approaching you.
