The best favor is being too full/drunk/danced out to remember if you left a tiny gift at my place setting for me to take home.
This is where my fiancé and I are cutting costs to have a better wedding “experience.” They only ones I probably still use are koozies
I’m not doing favors. We’re doing end of the night snacks and that can be the favor
I got a succulent at a wedding once that I liked
Got succulents before - they are dying now
Got chocolate - but forgot to bring them home
Got coasters - sitting in my cupboard collecting dusts
Got bar soap - this one is pretty nice, I used it
No one really cares about favors ...
Wine stopper, chocolate, candle, honey, measuring spoons were useful
I got a throw blanket from the last wedding i went to. Brought it home and use it almost every day, perfect size when I’m chilly but don’t want to get under the covers.
I think food is always a crowd pleaser.
Late night pizza with to-go boxes to bring some back to the hotel. SO good and saved me money on late night doordash.
Please, NO: random figurines. Photo frames. Magnets. Coasters (bc who uses mismatched single coasters on their table? Might work if you gave a set per guest but it’s not practical and could end up with more waste). Same concept for shot glasses etc.
Favorites has always been something edible or consumable: soap, chocolate, candles. I like the honey idea above. My all time favorite was Godivas wedding cake chocolate boxes.
We donated to charity - it was a destination wedding, we did three days of open bar, foods, events, entertainment, and figured no one wanted candied almonds or whatever 😂
We are doing pizza flatbreads to go! The bus ride after the reception is about an hr
