Does anybody have any advice when applying to postings with many applicants and getting noticed? The company I am interested in is Figma, and though I reached out to a few technical recruiters after applying through LinkedIn, I am wondering if there might be something more I could do that maybe I’m not thinking about. Also along those lines, if anybody here works for figma I would love the chance to connect
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone here had inputs on work culture at Stripe? What do benefits look like (couldn’t find specific details on Google). Are they flexible when it comes to attending to family? How is the TechOps role? What is the growth trajectory?

For Stress? Neither - instead consider a greeter at Wal-Mart!
Yikes theyre both that stressful? Lol
Sales gives you a higher ceiling (if you perform). Being an SE can vary - I've recognized less stress, and higher base. That being said, some SE's can get burnt out pretty quick.
Solution engineer is twice the work and stress but the money is better, so it depends on your priorities.
It's a mixture of all the above, and also there is a lot more pressure around duties and responsibilities. It can vary from team to team though
Better long term plan for what?
I still haven’t seen a bumper payday though, saas salespeople can do that. So..
I feel like both have plenty of potential for success. Depends what you’re most interested in..
The one that plays to your strengths more is the better long term plan. You are happier, make more, and do better at the job you're best at.
Agree. I think both will continue to grow. Probably more salary potential in solutions engineering but you can make good money in sales too.
I prefer solution engineering
I think it would be good for both if the evaluations proceeded logically.
