Has anyone had a vaginal birth and had their doctor clear them after more than 6 weeks? My company pays 100% of maternity leave if for medical reasons, but the rest is unpaid. Wondering if there is any way I can get more than 6 weeks. After my last kid I didn’t even feel semi normal until 6 months, and I can’t imagine going back to work after 6 weeks. Applied to transfer to another property, found out that my manager told their manager that I had attendance issues, which she has never talked to me about and even said recently that I don’t have any attendance issues. I have been late by about 10 minutes a couple times when the bus is late, and have had to take a couple of emergency sick days, but I’m usually in the office before her.
