At my single-tier biglaw firm, it’s about $130k
Dependent on firm. Generally the less new equity partners are paid the lower the buy in.

AMLAW top 10 firm, and we have 3 tiers. $100k per tier

Yeah. From how it’s been explained, you start at 1 and every few years or so you move up. Higher tier = more shares = more money
Single tier Biglaw ~$250k

I’m only a 3rd year so I have no clue how it all works but that is what the buy in was last year…or so the senior associates say 🤷♂️
