What is the career path for an analyst investor strategy position (firm is alternative investment manager)? What areas can you go into from here? Is it a growing and interesting area of work?

How much of a salary increase (%) is standard or expected when switching consulting firms for a similar level / role? Currently at 150K and was offered 170K (13% increase) — obviously the total package needs to be considered but the base salary is arguably the most important factor. Appreciate your thoughts & any advice!

I got an offer from an product based organisation and package is almost among the market standards YOE:8 Tech: Data engineer. Offered CTC: 40lpa. Current ctc: 19lpa. But my expectations was 32lpa. So I am satisfied with the offer and role. Now my question is do I still need to look for other opportunities or stick to this one.

I somehow got included in a salary review 8 weeks after joining my exit opp, and my TC has taken off: -May / Consulting: 130k base, 10k bonus, 0 stock -June / Exit: 150k base, 20k bonus, 35k stock -Aug / Review: 170k base, 25k, 100k stock I am so proud, and excited to see all my hard work pay off!
