Does anyone have this issue : I realized I’m the kind of person who puts my heart and soul in a job because I’m genuinely passionate / wants to learn and excel at what I’m doing daily. But this became problematic because I usually find the job boring at some point and loose interest / motivation and look for another job to learn something new. I also tend to get almost burned out. Sometimes I ask myself why do I have to make it so complicated? But I always look for the next challenge.

Hey y’all! I’m looking to transition into product management and have been looking into courses I can take to better help me make that jump. So far only thing I’ve found was a 1400$ 4 month course with Udacity. Anyone know of anything better or cheaper? Is this course worth it?

After 6 weeks off work, I went back, today, to a company I used to work with years ago, today. Good job with Work/life balance.Make a consistent 100k+. I took the job because the industry I was coming from is very seasonal and hiring won't be in demand until spring next year. Later this afternoon, one of the companies I interviewed with called me back for 3rd interview. This job is riskier but 150k plus, which what I was used too. I ll probably get the job. Should i take it?

Also, how do I avoid jobs where I'm required to push customers into things they don't want? I'm able to do my best work when I can just hang out with people and they feel like they can genuinely trust me. It's also extremely important that I truly get behind what I'm selling.
I'm currently looking for work so far I've mostly done retail and customer service for small, local businesses.

60% base, 40% commission. $305k OTE
I truly am in the wrong industry because my OTE is nowhere near any of those! 😞
They must work 2 or 3 times too.
My base is in the mid $100s, commission is 5% of gross profit, then an extra 3% for anything that is net-new. There is an annual accelerator of 3% if you hit 110% of your quota. Let’s assume my salary is $150k on a quota of $2M GP, and I close $500k in net-new services with a total of $2.2M.
-$110k (5% of $2.2M GP)
-$15k (3% of $500k net new)
-$66k (3% of $2.2M 110% accelerator)

It will be higher commission % and lower base % in the next year because my commissions will be larger.
70% Base /30% Commission
80% base, 20% commission. $75k OTE
Our comp plan just changed but it seems to be about 40/60 plus bonuses if certain targets are met.
