When an offer is in the approval stage after a final round, what are the chances the the comp package amount that the recruiter shared with you and sent for approval is the one that gets approved? Do Partners reject and adjust lower during this stage for someone they want to hire? I shared my expectations with recruiter prior to final round and she put that package in for approval. Just curious on next steps.

It often feels like I'm dragged into meetings which don't require me to participate. If they aren't explicitly mandatory, can I just skip meetings?
