After i cleared all the rounds. HR told me- initially we were hiring for 2 positions one is filled already & other one is in hold due to recession. After 2 weeks i got a call from them asking me if i am still interested they have re-opened and now i am again waiting for the offer letter they said it will take 2 days for approval from finance

I left my last job because I didn't appreciate the culture (B4). However, it was probably because I was a terrible employee. However, I do find that my clients love me 10x more than my consulting colleagues. I joined a smaller firm to cover up the problem.

I currently work in FDD and have an outstanding offer from another consulting firm in their strategy practice. I have a desire to eventually jump to Private Equity but that seems unlikely without banking experience. Would making this jump help or hurt those chances? Thanks in advance!
