What is the dress code like at your job? I used to work at a place that was completely casual, but my new office has strict rules “just in case” a customer comes in (they NEVER do)

My new office has a strict dress code, which includes wearing collared shirts and skirts or trousers. It's a bit strict since customers don't usually come in, but it does give off the impression of professionalism, which I appreciate.

It's mostly business casual, which means no jeans or sneakers and any clothing must be neat and presentable. We also have to make sure that our hair is pulled back and we're wearing closed-toed shoes at all times

At my job, we have a very professional dress code. We are expected to wear business formal attire when representing the company, which includes suits and dress shirts for men and blazers or dresses for women. Additionally, we must ensure that our clothing is clean, pressed, and appropriate for the situation.

Our dress code at my job is quite relaxed, which I really appreciate. We are allowed to wear a variety of different garments such as jeans, khakis, dresses, skirts, t-shirts and polos. Our company has an open-collar policy that encourages individuality in dress. We also have guidelines that discourage clothing that is too revealing or inappropriate for the workplace.

The dress code at my job is quite flexible and accommodating. We don't have a strict uniform, so we don't have to worry about wearing specific clothing items.

How can we better address and respond to clients’ reluctance to cast POC in TVCs? In most cases I’ve seen it’s nothing but blunt racism, and I’ve never seen anyone agency-side push back and try to stop this from happening. It makes me beyond upset and uncomfortable but as a junior I don’t know how to address it when the senior Account and Creative people won’t even do so. How do we start to fix this?

Fish- how do you deal with negotiating with a non-lawyer? I'm finding my client's customers gate keep access to their attorneys and as a result I often find myself negotiating with someone who....how do I put this nicely.....doesn't understand basic contracting or legal principles. My co-worker is so resentful and competitive because I was promoted over her last year which caused a demotion on her end. People in the company still go to her for things that should be for me but she rarely corrects them. Shes still involved in the company too in a way that allows her to know secrets that I should know about but never do. I technically am above her within the company but this is how things are. I just do my job and try to not let it bother me but it does. Any suggestions?

Sort of a silly question, but I’m curious about team dinners. How often do they occur on a project with travel? Weekly? 2-3 per week?

Also, are they always at the highest end restaurants (especially in the big cities)? I had a friend tell me that the Partner on their case looks for “the most extravagant restaurant possible” for team dinners.

Incoming BA/A/AC and this was just an interesting question that popped into my head.

Do you think it is time to find another job when your PIC is a micro manager, never trained you when you got hired, expects you to know things no one ever told you about in the first place, texts and calls you in the morning with questions you don’t have an answer to (I work evening shift so I’m mostly sleep when he reaches out), assumes the worst about everything, plots against you anyway, lies all the time, they don’t even do their job, they leave their trash behind etc. gives me anxiety.
