Does anyone know if the same 401k rules apply at EY as Accenture so they will cap the contributions coming for your check say if you hit the yearly limits in August? So if you hit the 22,500 in 23 there is no way to go over for tax issues. Thinking to frontload next year contributions if market is down. EY

Taking fuel out of the plane is probably to lower weight onboard; not all that dumb. I've been delayed for "weight distribution" when they had to rearrange the luggage stowed away. Also been delayed because a pick up truck ran into the plane
The flight attendants reported seeing a mouse (international flight). The mouse was never found, but the flight was canceled in the end, just in case. Give how surly the crew was when we boarded and initial drink service, my theory to this day is that they didn’t want to work the flight that day
Short and simple: La Guardia
"Pilot is late due to Ribfest" -- did not clarify if pilot attended or if it was due to traffic.
The only thing I can think of that I actually qualify as dumb is we had a flight leaving Dallas. Air Conditioning on plane was broken. Two other flights already cancelled because weather elsewhere prevented flights from getting in. Pilot gave us a choice to deplane and hope to get a flight the next day or suck it up as once we were in the air it would cool off because of the air replenishment. Everyone stayed. He said we were going to wait a few minutes to get some extra ice. 45 minutes later he got on and said “I’m sorry they won’t give me extra ice. I, the pilot, am not authorized to request it. A hell of a way to run an airline. Flight attendants prepare doors for departure.” I consider it dumb because we wAited needlessly with no result because of some idiot ignoring a pilot’s reasonable request.

I’ll go first... AA is currently taking fuel out of my plane...
ORD - CDG. We took off with “mechanical issues” and got to Nova Scotia before we turned back to Chicago. Sat in the plane for another 5 hours for maintenance before we took back off to CDG. The bird’s nav system was broken, which isn’t a death blow to a flight over land, but you can’t fly instruments-only over water. I don’t know why I still fly AA.
Some of the interior ceiling’s headliner came loose and the glue from the repair still hadn’t dried... +3 hours 😑
Someone on the plane left their phone at security and we had to wait for TSA to deliver it (small airport)
Mouse inside the plane - AA in DFW.
SA1 - yeah that was my flight 🤦♂️
They forgot to load the luggage
Airline forgot to put fuel in the plane. 3h delay to Tokyo and everyone missed their connections.
“The seat cushion doesn’t fit the pilots seat"
The absolute worst reason to miss a flight is when you land in your connecting city on time, but they can't find a ground crew to put you on the gate.
Air Traffic Control Tower had a different weight than the pilot reported so they thought there were stowaways on board. Security boarded the plane and manually checked everyone’s ticket. Did a full search of the luggage area before letting us take off. 3+ hour process
Couldn’t close an overhead bin
They lost my plane a few days ago
Couldnt get the food into the plane (international)- flight delayed 8 hours. We were stranded at the airport all night without food anyway since it was night time. So we could’ve just go to our destination hungry.
