Maybe it’s NYC base? That’s high for TX

Im always amazed to see salary speculations that don't take YOE as an input. You can take about ranges all day long but your YOE will decide where you sit.

Level and title is noted above already. I guess in this case the recruiter and myself are not even sure of the YoE expected for which title

You quoted something with a 30K gap range. Maybe that’s the problem! I think $110-115 should be achievable for JPM And if they want to go lower than $100K then not sure if its worth it!

So... the thing is associates can be someone a couple of years out of college or a year or two post MBA. The salary range is insane, in your case it probably depends on what they’re trying to “fill” and it sounds like they want a junior associate. Post MBA associate base is 130 - 140K

This actually makes so much sense! Thanks!

I was told it's based on graduation year. Is that total comp or just salary?

Are you saying that 100-130 range make sense for Texas with an UG degree and less than 4 years of work experience?

Huge btc short position in market right now, I expect a lot of liquidity issues to come to light soon. Bitcoin should end up below 30k and stay there as new resistance soon. Do you honestly believe the 10-40% defi interest rates were risk free. It’s all paid by stablecoin printing backed by the assumption that crypto prices would keep appreciating

Already at MBB. Went to T10 undergrad. Dream exit is health tech. Applied R1 and only got into Kellogg. It sure would be fun to explore and network for 2 years. But not convinced Kellogg is enough of a leg up for my network or career prospects versus current MBB role to be worth the financial/opportunity cost. Anyone else in this boat or have a take on this??!

I got to ask. I had my recruiter phone screening for Amazon and can’t seem to figure out a couple of things. 1. Applied for 2posts. Said Under Consideration for one but was interviewed for a different role. Is this normal? 2. The interviewer didn’t seem much interested to speak to me. Or maybe I’m reading too much into it. Overall it went average, but I’d like to know if I could reach out this recruiter asking about the application status issue on the job portal! Thoughts?

I’m in change/transformation/strategy so no technical skills. I enjoy helping people be their best (coaching / program management / talent optimization type work). Sad that my only skills are soft skills. Ideas?
