Question:
Why do you want to come to pwc when you are already in consulting at another Big4 firm?

I received a job offer with a probationary period that requires targets are met to obtain the full salary I requested. While this is not a pure sales role, biz dev and revenue are part of the responsibility of managing a 30pp department in this role.

One target requires I increase team revenue by 20% in 6 months. They haven't shared current revenue info yet, but 20% on ANY number seems really high, especially in the first 6 months.

What are some reasonable revenue increase goals you've had?

I had an offer from a startup as a tech recruiter. They mentioned in my offer I will be eligible for bonuses and will be organized by the CEO in the first 3 months. I get my actual contract and there is no mention of a bonus structure. I assume PPP is more or less the “average” partner’s compensation (less reserves etc.). How far off do you think that is from the “mean” partner’ comp?

For example: does the top 1% of partnership take 80% of profits and the other 99% of the partners schmucks paid like senior associates? Would 5y into a partnership at a ~$3M PPP firm allow you to retire (should you so wish) with ~$5mio in the bank?
