what is the hiring cycle/season/timeline for BB and EB?

I graduated from my LLB last year and I’m still not sure what I want to do with it.. I’m currently just working a customer service role to keep me going until I figure out what to do. I’m really into the social services and also wouldn’t mind a job in the legal field just not sure I wanna be a lawyer per se. Anyone got any ideas on what kind of jobs I should look for or would be useful with my degree?

I currently have about 4 years of experience at Chevron (2 years in R&D, 2 years as a chemicals product manager). I am looking to transition into consulting as I have realized that I am someone who gets bored of a project once it turns into a well-oiled machine. My 4 years at Chevron has made me realize that I want to leverage my engineering knowledge to solve problems, but I want to be in a client facing role. Can anyone help me with a referral to an MBB?

Seeing the current cloud market, I've started learning GCP. But, now I have a doubt that since I'm already in Oracle Cloud, should I just continue in OCI or still try and switch to GCP?

I am recently received an invite for a meeting with a partner and a HR person which means I am either going to be laidoff or put on a reduced schedule (60% time for 60% pay). I would rather being laidoff since I don’t want to still work 100% with 60% pay. How would I frame it if they put me on the reduced schedule? I am a new jr. credit analyst at a commercial banking institution. I've been there 2.5 months so far, and feel like I'm doing very well, as does my boss. I do not have a finance degree, but a business admin degree instead. I didn't plan on banking, but I left my prior industry and got this job through someone I know knowing someone at the bank. I had several interviews with Deutsche bank and they have verbally offered the job about 2 months ago. I noticed on Workday Tuesday the status says "offer in progress". In the time between, I did get some calls the offer is still in progress and is slowed down due to manager out of office (among other things). How long should I wait until I need to call back and get an update? And this type of situation commonplace?
