Yeah my HR used to send out a utilization report each month that detailed utilization for each person in the practice. Haven't seen it in a few months, but HR is probably sending it to your managers and directors, OP.

I think it depends on your group. I'm in national tax, and my group is constantly trending around 50% or below which is the norm for us. No one has ever been let go yet. We charge close to double the hourly rates tho and do high margin projects.
