Fishies. You may have the Monday morning frights, the first day of week scaries, or the dreaded pinging email inbox spookies. Hang tight, the day will come and go and you’ll get through it

Agile is the biggest lie we’ve ever sold to our clients.

Wow so generous of our MD to give our team such a generous Go Live Thank you gift! The fact that he’d risk getting caught by the hotel staff for stealing the hot chocolate and coffee from the lobby for us means so much!

The wife is away for the day, so the smoker comes out for play.

How old are you and what is the biggest problem in your life right now?

What matters more to you? Promotion or gaining experience from the project you are on?

Left consulting a year ago to industry. I truly gave it a chance but I’m so bored. Compensation is average at best but I only work max 40 hours a week, no weekends. Low stress. Is it wrong for me to want to go back into consulting? Consulting was fast paced and I learned so much more, along with better comp (but longer hours is downside).

Left consulting 6 months ago and just feel like i got off a money making hamster wheel: every hour of your day is optimised for max billability , we charged clients outrageous amounts and budgeted half the actual time required for projects and to top off all that partners always ask us to OVERdeliver. I’m out for life and happier than ever!

When clients ask for a deliverable by EOD Friday knowing darn well they won't review it till Monday morning. 😒

What’s everyone’s utilization on average? My firm targets 85% which I think is pretty solid but if you have a bad month it’s kind of hard to crawl out of it.

Rules of Monday morning meetings when you're sandwiched between a director and a partner, your coffee ☕️has taken affect and you just really got to go...😲😥

Do you prefer Starwood or Marriott and why? I have roughly half points in both but thinking of focusing on one now.
