Not sure on mobile roaming because never traveled internationally, but flying economy is absolutely the norm unless you are a partner or get upgraded from status.

It wholly depends on which firm you work for. They may have several expense policies based on markets, firmwide policies, employee level, and expense and purchase policies also heavily dependent on client reimbursement policy or restrictions. If I travel for govt clients, I’m usually restricted to what I can expense to them. If I travel for my company, it is MUCH more lenient.

No mobile roaming is strange, assuming they want you working while on the trip. Flying economy is normal at most places beyond maybe MBB, especially if you're not at or above SM level. Shared transport is common, as they don't need 300 people each with their own rental car to sit at a training site. Buses from airport to/from the training site are common, with exceptions on a case by case basis such as paying for uber if you need to leave 6 hours before everyone else.

In 10 years of consulting at three firms, I have never been denied mobile roaming expenses during travel. But I also use my mobile devices for work, which is my justification.
