The most times I've applied to one specific company is seven times over the course of a year. Never did it again.
I have not applied more than three times to a specific company. My career counselor said it could hurt to apply for multiple roles at the same company. The recruiter may not take you seriously.
This is why I prefer freelancing sites over applying to companies. You can find long-term projects, and business owners that value your work. The application process is usually short too.
You're right. That's insanity! Did anyone ever reach out to you? or did you just get bots thanking you for your application? Where did you start applying afterward?
I applied for to a company and got the interview, but i turned it down after taking another position. I later applied again, and she remembered my resume. But I turned it down a second time. The positive side of this is that I know that I could work there and I already have a contact, the negative side it that neither of would want another declined job offer.
The past 2 1/2 years I’ve been looking for work since being laid off. There’s some companies I’ve applied for over 50 times, Dozens of interviews but nothing materialize. At what point do I just give up
I applied to Verizon multiple times. I never got a job there and I truthfully feel like I potentially could have been a much better fit for the role than some others who had applied there. That being said, it wasn’t the right time for me to get that job or they would have hired me. Moved on!
