For reference, last year was going to make 80k in audit as an S1 (2 YOE). Left to FDD (deal advisory) at another firm. Got 101k and then mid year comp adjustment to 118k. No busy season and I work 40-50 hours a week (sometimes less if unassigned)

I am at PwC now from another big 4. Had my CPA and switched in as a S1 (even though the job posting asked for 3+ years of experience).

So I recently found out that my current company is underpaying me. And by that I mean that literally any other company is willing to pay me 15-20k more than what I make now. In my current role they've asked me to take on extra responsibilities with no financial compensation (scrum master type stuff) while still doing my engineering stuff. I don't necessarily mind it, but I'm starting to feel like I'm being taken advantage of. Is it reasonable for me to ask for a raise? Or do I go somewhere else?

Interested to see some perspectives - currently working at a Payroll & Benefits Specialist at a fast growing company and recently passed my PHR! I just started this role only a few months ago but am already feeling like I can take on more, but not as much as a HR manager. I’m struggling to understand where exactly it is I can go from here. I’m 25, have 3 years of experience, and get paid $59k/year.

Where does one go from here? Thanks in advance for any and all answers!
