What is the most ridiculous bonus purchase y’all have ever seen? Only reckless behavior plz. Salary purchases are acceptable but only if it involves taking on credit card debt. Thx.

I was sort of in your boat in that I hadn’t really ridden all year. I rode my first bike in the snow I loved it so much. But by the time I’d gotten to the Triple, it had lost some luster. I still ogle the occasional MV Augusta but generally I don’t miss riding at all.

A mantle clock from Tiffany’s. Maybe not the most lavish purchase but I’m a first year associate and that was basically my entire post-tax COVID bonus back in June

It really isn't. Also a Tiffany timepiece is the exact example of things that appreciate in value over time whether or not (know this because my Mom is an overly wealthy bored person that collects the stuff for resale, has bought multiple, and has 1m+ worth in antiques, and while actually working was a jewler).

Is it okay that I’ve been a slow junior as we’re hours away from closing? I’m trying to be proactive and available to cross things off the list but I’m SLOW: takes me long enough that they do it themselves (even though this wasn’t an issue earlier in the deal) and even on quick tasks or emails, they respond to it before I can click send. There’s also so much about closing that I don’t understand and I feel like I’m bothering the higher-ups on the team whenever I ask. *end anxiety post*
