Probably negative with limited/no savings and large student loans. And those are the ones who made it to college.
If you’re healthy, making money, have the start of a career, and beginning to save with the debt balance going down then you’re ahead of the game.
Run your race.

I was definitely negative at that age.
Most 24 yr olds have a negative net worth due to student loans.
At 24, I was about minus 16K (college loans). By 28, around minus 80K (more school loans). At 32, minus 440K (mortgage plus remaining loans). Was completely debt-free by 40. Incurred more debt recently but positive net worth and healthy retirement savings, 529, other imvestments, etc. Think and plan long-term and stay disciplined. Dual income, if possible, was a key factor.

A1 you are not average.
At 24, have 60k of college debt, refinanced at 2.7%.
In no hurry to pay it off, investments valued at about 30k right now.
So negative 30k.
If you’re even asking the question, you’ll be just fine ☺️

Finished undergrad right when I turned 21 with maybe 10K, after living frugally, working while in school, having scholarships and family support. Went to grad school on scholarships, and by end of first year working, when I was 24 I'd say I was probably at 25K.
I was -20k at your age. Relax and enjoy your life

24 here almost 25. At 40k, in my second job out of college. Luckily no student loans, moved back home since covid so no major monthly bills/expenses

There's a site that will give you this be percentile. Just Google it. If you are 24 you should be able to do that by now.

Average or straight out of college into consulting average?
I'm 24, net worth is 50k after finishing my loans last year.
When I was 24, I had a negative networth due to student loans. My savings were probably 2k
At the age of 24 I probably had about up to $10k )))
I’m 24. Have about 60k not counting car
25M. I would say this group in general is not gonna have an average amount. Most 24's are just starting their career with student loans, credit card debt, car payment, etc. That being said, I worked full time during hs and college. The job I had in college offered 401k benefits. So I currently have 50k in savings. 170k in roth IRA/401k. 300k in brokerage. And at 24, I purchased 2 multi family properties worth about 350k and generating about 4k in revenue per month (monthly expenses are about 1.7k for mortgage, taxes, insurance).
I’ve been working for 6 years with no debt and don’t even have 300k in my brokerage. Nice work.
