8 weeks maternity leave. 2 weeks paternity leave. Otherwise people use PTO or unpaid leave. Have to work here a year to get the leave.

13 weeks primary caregiver leave, 4 weeks secondary. Either parent can claim primary. No waiting period for new hires.

Wow that is awesome!!

16 paid weeks for primary and secondary. Must be used within the first year following birth or adoption.

16 weeks and so worried all of the stress I’m under is going to hurt the baby. Between work, my own scary (non-pregnancy) health stuff, the pandemic, my mom (who is a widow and lives alone, basically isolated by choice due to covid) is having health issues, and pressures to keep billable hours up, I’ve been having complete breakdowns. Today I spent almost the entire day crying and now have to make up the billable time this weekend. I really worry abt what effect this will have on the babe.

I am a fairly new grad NP with 10 years experience as a med surg/peri operative nurse. I’ve been at my new job in an office setting for a bit now and it’s a toxic work environment. What are my options while still making similar money? (Currently making $115k in NJ).

Dear Lord - help us to be faithful in our prayers and petitions - especially for those we know who are unsaved. So that they may come to know you as Lord and Savior and share in eternal life.

And for those of us who are your children, please give us wisdom and discernment so that we may know and do your will. Thank you Father- all praise and glory be to your name. Amen.

Hi Fishes,

How easy/difficult it is to change base location in SAP. I interviewed for a position where I have given preferred location as gurgaon but I was offered a position in Bangalore . It's a good role and i have really less experience so I didn't want to let go of the opportunity. I want to know how easy will it be to change location to Gurgaon as my husband and inlaws are really unhappy with the decision and might force me to lose this opportunity.
Any tips will be much appreciated.

Having this debate with a colleague….if you tell the business you will turn around a document/respond to email, etc “shortly” do you think that necessarily implies that same day? Or just generally that you will deliver soon…ie, in the next couple of days?

I work for a mid-sized company (almost 500 employees) with a legal team of 3 and am curious about how our approach to contracts compares with others. Every single contract the company signs goes through legal review, and we always have revisions (we have specific terms we typically request). I’m talking every contract, down to the coffee vendor (not to minimize the significance of coffee). Is this normal? Sometimes it feels like a huge waste of time for low-risk concerns.
