Music and a hug!

I love music! However, I am NOT a hugger! We can high five though!

A hug if I know you, a sweet snack, and maybe a little music too

I understand that completely.

A nice, long walk usually does the trick!

I love long walks. During our Covidcation I would wake up at 5 am and go for a 3 hour walk before anyone else woke up at home. I live in a small country town, so the walks were peaceful. Watching the sun rise is refreshing.

Partners and future partners, if you made the salary you are currently making annually, and through increasing client fees and gaining efficiencies through technology, nobody worked more than 40 hours a week, would you be ok with that or would you think you are leaving money on the table and would want to get more and increase hours to 45-50? My main question is if we could achieve 40 hour weeks would you be satisfied or will you want to get hours up to what you’re used to?

How much does it slow down (or speed up) your career if you chose to be a generalist i.e. not specialize in any one area. Do MBB still hire general consultants or is focus squarely on experience?

Recently laid off from Sr. Consultant role in energy in Houston. 4 years exp in supply chain/procurement and 2 in consulting (mainly tech PM work aka scrum). Have my MBA and PSM 1 cert. I know opportunities are far and few between right now, but looking for either energy or supply chain consulting role. Open to travel once resumed. If anyone is aware of a need, I'd appreciate the help!

Hi! I have around 13 months of exp in LTI. My current project assignment gets over by December. And I want to change role after 18 months. Is it a good idea to continue and jump to another project in the middle ? Or its better to sit on the bench until that happens? If latter is the case, how do I ask my manager to be benched after my assignment? I'm not sure how benching works. Do I get salary? Please help me understand
