I’ve been working for my State Farm agent since January 2022. Between then and now three people have been let go. The first to be let go was only there for a month. The second was there for about six months and the third was let go yesterday after a little over a month. I feel this is toxic as I see this as a revolving door. Hi everyone! I applied for a company just before quitting my current job, and now I got to the last stage interview and I haven’t told them that I quit. How should I let them know? Is it worth it to risk it and not say anything? Maybe they run background checks… should I address it when we’re discussing notice period and starting dates?

Does anyone feel they interview poorly because of their nerves, even if you prepare prior to the interview and find good examples of your skills and experience to match the role requirements? My nerves always get the best of me and I tend to ramble when I’m nervous. I had a phone interview with the hiring manager and members of the team that the role would be working with and I feel like I shot myself in the foot a few times. Does anyone have any tips to get past their nerves in the interview?

Is there any advantage to telling a company you are interested in working for in the future where you decided to accept an offer from? Or does it not matter? I accepted an offer a week ago with a great company (Company A) that for this season in my life seems like a great fit and only strengthens what I have to offer company B down the road. Company B just sent me a request for interview and I want to keep the door open with Company B but they were just very late in extending an interview.
