Any book recommendations for parenting an extremely stubborn child? My 4.5 yo middle is giving us such a hard time lately. It varies what sets him off, but one example is: I ask him and big sis to get pajamas on before movie night. Often they come out ready 2 min later but sometimes randomly he’ll say he can’t do it, demand my help, and (when I gently insist he needs to try first) will get so upset that it essentially ruins his evening. he’s otherwise kind, thoughtful, smart, and loving.

Talk to me about going from 2 to 3. I feel like 3 kids is such a rarity in this industry that it’s daunting to make the leap. I don’t know a single person in my office with 3 kids. I have a governmental entity client in Texas that wants to offer 6 weeks of paid parental leave for all employees, even those who aren’t eligible for FMLA. After the paid 6 weeks, the employee can choose to continue paid leave using any accrued personal leave.

Texas does not have a paid parental leave statute.

If paid leave above what is required is offered for parents, do we also have to provide the same benefit to other employees that are eligible for unpaid leave?

I didn’t get along with one of my AE. She never included me in anything and spend 2.5 years ignoring me. If one isn’t her best friend, she doesn’t work with them.
