How much a project manager should get?
Hi fishes, what are the chances of Pwc AC rescinding an offer, given the market condition. The offer letter I have received seems to be generic and doesn't look it is for a specific project. The role seems to be generic. I am a little hesitant, specially because of HR's behaviour who doesn't seem to care responding to my queries and ignores all my emails and calls. Any advice?

It's hard to demonstrate next level capability in staff aug roles. Kind of a career stagnator
They don't staff aug director and VP level roles. You usually don't get to make many decisions and just deal with everyone else's shit. No ownership, no motivation, no clear start middle or end.
It's also called body leasing...
It's seen as "coasting". Most staff aug roles don't have defined deliverables, you just help the client with whatever day to day efforts they have.
I'm currently on a staff aug role that is actually quite enjoyable due to how awesome the client is. But I only took it because I'm headed to b school and don't need to focus on promotion to manager any more

Jo deliverables?
No*?
From both A1 and E1, it sounds like the negatives are more on the consultants, their personal brands and career progression, not so much on the firm?
No thought leadership. No insight. Just doing.
One of my counsellees calls it "lone staff" 😂
You report to a client. The same idiot clients that pay us to get them out of the shit hole
OP does the firm have stigma? No. People do. And those are the consultants.
