What is the typical raise for exiting into industry as a manager?

VP at a first-time healthcare vc fund. Closed fund 1 at $60min without a placement agent. Already invested fund 1 and now Partners want to raise fund 2 with an agent. Should I stay or leave?

I joined on Dec13th in EFA practice at Deloitte. Will i be eligible for hike and bonus in june? If yes, how much % to expect?(no snapshot to raise as i dont have any project assigned till date.)

Hello Fishes! I’m working in a fintech (ATM domain) 3.5+ YOE (same company). My current CTC is 10.3 LPA (OT separate). Last year I got 30% raise & promotion. What % should I quote in next pay review? Company is facing huge resource shortage & I’m handling major projects. So I know I’m important. Just wanted to know from community what is the market rate for someone like me.

I’m dealing with leadership that has been treating me so poorly to the point that I’m having mental breakdowns. They have said that they do not believe I am ready for a promotion because of my time as a practitioner. I started my career in academia and I’m a fast learner. I have been going above and beyond to make sure our clients are happy and things don’t fall between the cracks, just to be called “overbearing” and to be chastised in front of the rest of the team. Thoughts?

I’ve worked as a Histocompatibility technologist at a large company for 10 years. I am lead tech now and I know that I am underpaid and have been informed that no matter what extra degrees or certifications I obtain would end in a raise. I am an ASCP certified med tech and ACHI certified Histocompatibility specialist with a bachelors in clinical laboratory science. I’m tired of being undervalued. What’s out there for people with clinical lab background? Im willing to go back to school. Thanks!

What's your base yearly raise % at your company? Last place only gave 1%. Current place offered 3%. Both agencies within global holding companies. (No bonuses...)

Curious to hear collective thoughts on a salary increase for an employee. 2 years of experience and looking for a raise of almost 10K and has only been with the company for a year. On one had the employee has been instrumental in keeping business afloat during the pandemic and was awarded a 15% bonus at the end of last year. The other hand, it seems like it may be setting a precedent of having such large increases YoY. Thoughts?

Are all PA firms now forecasting normal raise for next year summer/fall now?

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person in advertising who isn't fiercely competitive. I just wanna make a decent living, work hard but not too hard, spend time with my husband and my kid, do some good work... Meanwhile everyone I know through work is constantly gunning for a promotion or moving on. It works for them, but it's not my game. Anyone else ever feel this way? I wanna find my people.

If I’m making 65K at an indie agency right now, what would be a reasonable percentage to ask for as a raise next year?

I freelance PM for a small firm, 2 male owners, all else are ICs. When managing certain campaigns I am the ONLY one from my team doing the bulk of the work. My agency’s profit margins are ridiculous. Example, they’ll charge a small firm $10k for a project that costs them $3k. I, who will have managed the entire project, might pocket up to $1k. The owners, who do nothing, pocket $6k. Yet when I ask for a raise, it’s a big issue. I love the work, but I am clearly underpaid and valued. Need advise!
