Hi All,
Persistent Systems is giving 10% variable on gross annual CTC. HR says you would receive minimum 70% of variable pay every month and remaining 30% will credited once a year at the end.
Does anyone has idea on this? Can I believe this and include 70% variable in my take home

Barista
Oh yes. Big 4 right now. Figured the hours should at least benefit me. :)
Omg, yes M1. I could never be a barista, particularly at Starbucks. I'd go postal on these people and their crazy special orders 🤯 I'm annoyed just standing in line waiting to order (and no, I dont have any special instructions for my mocha. Just give me a damn hot coffee. As long as it tastes like something other than coffee 😂 )
Went to industry (tax) and had about 3400 hours a year.
Did you boomerang?
I did my internship in External Financial Reporting at HQ for one of the the big automakers. Their hours were atrocious. Makes PA look good. That was right before they changed the CPA requirement that you had to work (1 or 2 years, I forget) in PA to get your license. And that department specifically required B4 experience. Everyone I worked with during my internship had recently jumped ship from their B4 firms. I don't think anyone boomeranged back to PA, but none of them lasted long before moving on to new jobs, whether just in another department or at a new company
I jumped to industry for 2 years (tax). Hours were great but I was bored out of my mind and the people were lame. Bounced back and am much happier in public
