Is only long debt debt considered in the cost of debt for WACC or do other short term liabilities matter as well?
Hi all, I recently got an opportunity to interview for a CDP position at Accenture Strategy & Consulting . What does the role entail? What skills will I be developing? The role seems very broad as there isn’t a particular focus.

I'm currently working as an HR Director for a New Jersey non-profit of about 165 employees. I have been with the company 7 years and have a total of 10 years in the HR world. I have my Master's in HRM, my SHRM-CP, and am currently making $87k yearly. I have 7 weeks PTO, flex scheduling, and the ability to work remotely at my own discretion.
My father in law thinks I'm worth at least $40k-$50k more than I'm being paid currently. I don't know if he's right. What do you think?
Hi - looking for direction: I’m about to file my citizenship application without a lawyer (after 5yrs of permanent residency). I filled out the N-400 form myself. At the end of the form it’s asking to upload any documents/evidence. How important is it uploading documents and what exactly is preferable to upload? (ex: foreign passport pgs, univ degree, employment verification?). It didn’t specifically require to upload copies. Would my case be denied if I don’t upload anything? Thx in advance
There are a lot of people smarter than me on here, so looking for some advice. I have a spouse and two small kids. I've always done a traditional PPO healthcare plan because the cost was 100% covered by work and I was too lazy to switch. Because my wife had her own HDHP plan, we had HSA access. She's not working right now (but will be going back eventually). I'm considering doing HDHP but wondering if anyone with small kids has regretted that? (cont. in comments)

Additional Posts in Asians in Consulting
For anybody curious about moving to Asia, Vietnam specifically, and what it’s like working in a corporate job, I just started a personal blog to share my experience. I’m a Viet Kieu (vietnamese person that grew up overseas) and this is my first time living in Asia. Happy to answer any questions ya’ll might have and/ or let me know what inside out perspective I can share more about. I found it tough to do research on Vietnam so happy to pay it forward.
Internalized racism is the biggest demon Asians are facing today. As someone who grew up in Asia, it's hard to understand that mindset.
Why do you put up with Asian jokes?
Why do you refuse to date Asians?
Why don't you fight for our justice?
I have so many questions. If you don't respect yourself, how can you expect others to respect you. You hate being us, but I bet you still love sushi, pho and use technology created by us.

The bamboo ceiling, real or not. Idk if we should rally behind other POCs to speak up about microagressions at work since we do get jobs and represented well (often over) in white collar professions. But why are there so little Asian CEOS, board members, and leaders in general. I found that I am not being taken seriously as a leader, manager, or superior personally and professionally. How do I change this, I am tired of the disrespect..
Thinking of getting a three bedroom apartment in Newport, NJ. Would any female be interested in subleasing one bedroom? F here.
Have a Vietnamese guy on my team. Smart and hardworking, and looking to advance. His biggest obstacle is presentation and communication skills; his accent is thick and he speaks very fast. How would you approach the conversation around improving his communication style?
Wow.. I’m not Korean but this perspective gives me a lot to be grateful for today.

Honestly not trying to throw shade at China but this is something I can totally saw my Chinese family doing - “hey can you please delay this critical thing so I don’t lose face?” 😂🤣
My half asian/white cousins (2) told me they were very surprised on how good my English is even though I didn’t grow up in the US. Unlike their moms who speak broken English. A bit annoyed with them - a micro aggression and steroetyping. Do you get the same experience?
Broke up during school and now that I started working seems like there’s no time to date and no where to meet people. I want to start dating and hopefully meet someone serious. (The pandemic doesn’t help), but how do you you meet someone after graduated or start working?

Anyone have a hard time arguing politics with your parents or relatives? I’ll admit that I am a little bias having grown up in the US, but it’s like they ignore facts!! They just deny all the shit...
Did anyone actually like the live action version of Mulan? I feel like it was so cringe. Def a fan of the cartoon over this. I wish they did a more faithful adaption like they did for Aladdin 😭
