I got an offer to inherit a book at a competitor plus a lower salary than I have now. I’m considering taking it considering the flows alone on the new book are worth it to me... I think. Thoughts?

I had final round interviews 3 weeks ago for an industry role, they said they’d make a decision within 2 weeks. Never heard back, so I followed up with the recruiter this week and they said they’re “in the process of wrapping up the process and should have more information in the next week”— Does this mean I didn’t get it and am likely a backup candidate?
