How do you break the habit of procrastination?
If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

If anything, we’re finally getting back to the traditional level of attrition and turnover. The past couple of years have been unusual with how low it’s been.

All big4 have high turnover
Turnover is not unusually high. It can just be a shock when a peer leaves. Even at a 20% turnover rate, that means that in a start class of 30, 11 will leave in 2 years. It just seems weird when you are in it..
The market is strong enough where companies can hire again, rather than hiring big 4. That makes it more likely people jump ship than those coming out in a post recession economy. Question is what happens when another market correction occurs
Have the last couple of years have been unusual? I didn’t know-I’m kind of new to the big 4, I’ve been here for 2 1/2 years
Big 4 loses about 1/5 of its workforce every year
