Comp question. Interviewing at Facebook (Meta) for Growth Marketing Manager role, remote/Hybrid in NYC. Meta Recruiter said base $145k, bonus, $65k equity & Base was not negotiable. However this seems a bit lowball. Compared to 180+ base I’ve seen on Glassdoor and base Meta shared for the role for those from Colorado ~157k, the base is low given higher cost of NYC living. Is it possible to negotiate this to be closer to the 157-160k range? Currently a growth manager, 6+ years exp in marketing.

Completely depends on the company
Have no work to do/ no career path because basically work is outsourced to big 4….
In my company( fortune 150), only senior manager or above review big 4 work products. People have less than 5 years of experience provide info for big 4 so they can complete calculation.
Mostly you work less hours. Again, it depends on what you do and your expertise.
Totally depends on specialty and company/role. I did strategic tax planning in-house but that’s obviously night and day from compliance or other boring BS.
Depends on how well the tax department is managed. I had an industry manager. Clueless about how to implement technology and best practices since she didn't have that experience in PA. As a result, there was a lot of cleanup needed and it seemed I was going to be tasked with it. Decided to go back to PA as it was a cluster.
