I've gotten at least 3 'final reminders' from HR to complete the Self ID survey. Can't help but feel it's because of my last name...sorry, not gonna be a diversity box for you to check.
Hows GE healthcare for a business analyst? In terms of wb, job security and work environment?pls comment or dm
Looking to exit and would appreciate referrals 😁. I have a background in leading IT projects in the healthcare and telecom space, but I'm open to other industries as well. I also have AWS certs, but no real project experience. Can anyone help a 🐠 out?
Had a mental break down in the airport today. I used to be able to deal with this job but three years has worn me down. Hoped this job would boost my resume but I can’t get an interview anywhere else.
Reality check: just how many hours do you actually work from home? Do you actually put in the work you say you do or cheat whenever possible? Be honest, asking for a friend. 😅
Intl 🐠 What do you plan to do with your 401k? I'm Canadian, planning to eventually move back to Canada. Do I wait until I'm 60 to withdraw? Is traditional better than Roth 401k in this case?
As a project manager, if the client keeps adding scope, and I’m pushing back to protect my team due to resource & time constrain, is it good? Or should I kiss client’s ass?
SPG recommendations in downtown Philly?
Upcoming phone coding interview at Facebook for a Data Engineer (Analytics) position. Been in Consulting for over 6 years and ready to delve into the tech industry. Any tips on on passing the round or general interviewing tips for FAANG companies?
Currently an S1 in TR in the north west, making 94k. Just started talks with KPMG, what should I throw out there for salary expectations? I stated 110k and was told that’s in range, just want to make sure I’m not undercutting myself.
I know this is a loaded question and “depends on the standard of living you want to enjoy” but how much is enough to retire? Like I’m looking for an actual number. 5M? 10M? What’s your number and why?
So I got a verbal offer and I’m most likely going to accept. Problem is that there is going to be some time elapsed between receiving written offer, signing, and completing background check. All the while I’m on the bench and getting hounded to get on a new project.. what do I do?
New manager joined a project and is micromanaging like CRAZY. Project’s culture before they joined was very hands-off and we were trusted to just do the work. It’s definitely rubbing a few of us the wrong way, but since they’re our “boss” do we just have to suck it up? Any advice?
I’m freelancing at an agency and there’s a chance I’ll have to WFH a few hours over the holidays. Would it be weird/rude to charge x1.5 or x2 my rate cause it’s normally time off?
Thoughts on Washington D.C. Georgetown Westin? Staying there for my first time in our nations capital.... Thanks👍
Want to get a gift for my brother who's starting his MBA this year. Any suggestions? Things that you would have liked to have - or had during your MBA that helped with student living/travel/etc?
18 weeks pregnant (1st time) and have always been an active/fit person workingout 5x/wk cardio/treadmill and some weight lifting. I've toned down my workout routine since I found out I'm preg as I got 2 v diff advice from the NP I first saw then the OB/GYN herself. NP warned of exercising as this should not be my priority now (which I agree) he warned from any running/or weight lift (were talking 40-70 lbs). Ob was so flexible about it and said I can maintain my routine as long as not exhausted.
Has/did anyone find that their curiosity or number of interests hinder them in figuring out what they wanted to do with or after an MBA? Some days i could see myself trying to go into IB for a few years, but i have a lot of other personal interests that i could see myself trying to make a career out of. I’ve been thinking about taking the GMAT for two years but because of Covid/me not deciding what i want to do, i haven’t decided if i want to go down the mba route. Turning 28 soon
