This for myself and fiancé, both late 20s.
This might be the best compliment I’ve received on FB 😂
Should add we do a fair amount of travel (mostly weekend trips to Tahoe, Monterey, etc.,) that add up pretty quick, but wedding costs make you examine your budget really fast
We eat out for pretty much every meal on the weekends. Comes out to about 1000 for food and drinks per month. Grocery expenses negligible as we eat work provided food during weekdays.
I don’t even have a budget, honestly. I use home chef and it actually helps with saving money on groceries. I do also eat out for every meal every weekend, though. I would say about $800 for food a month, $4K rent, I save a ton of money on gas because I WFH and everything I frequent is within walking distance. With bill, probably about $7/8K a month in total.
I budget $1.4K per month for eating out, drinks, having fun, and groceries. But I also have an excess of $700 per month in my budget which sometimes also goes to that stuff depending on whether other miscellaneous expenses pop up.
-Rent is only $1.6k for a studio (covid pricing)
-Other expenses like gas, gym, subscriptions, utilities, etc. comes out to $600.
