What is your companies paid parental leave benefit/policy? Currently offer 12 weeks fully paid for any new parent and thinking about adding additional time.

I’m a first time mom(breastfeeding) of a 7 month old and returned to work this week.I’m allocated a short term project with a small team and looks like I might be the only point of contact(sole dependency) for the area I’m working on.
Now, what are some of the expectations I can set up with the team with only my husband who is on his paternity leave and I taking care of the baby right now.
Wondering if it’s even a good idea to accept this project. Please share your thoughts. Thanks!

We have an autistic non-verbal child in my school who is destructive. He tore my room apart last year (I do not have him as a student. He got into my room during class change.)
We can’t leave our doors open.
We can’t let the kids in the hall if he is in the hall.
He has his own teacher and 2 aides.

Anyone else have a situation like this?

DINK soon to be DISK. HHI ~$320K. Currently paying $3K in house rent for a 1BR. The lease expires this September and we want to buy our first house (apartment in Chicago city area). But we are really scared about the whole market bubble. What’s a better strategy, to buy a house immediately and move into it this Sep or continue to pay the rent (probably around $4K as we want to move to a two BR after we have the baby) for some more time and wait till the market cools off?

My husband isn’t a great parent and he have a toddler. He means well but doesn’t know how to handle children . We have been thinking about a second child. Although I would love two children, I am not sure if I would be making a mistake since one child was certainly a lot to handle for us. Is it normal to have only an 8 week US and a 20 week anatomy scan and then nothing for the rest of the pregnancy? This is my first so I don’t know what’s “normal” but I’m also worried that if we don’t check on baby we literally have no idea what’s going on in there and if he’s okay. There’s so many things that could be going on we literally have no idea… is this normal???

I lost a parent and very close to losing my spouse (due to an emotional infidelity). I honestly don’t know what to do and feel like I’m drowning trying to take care of my family’s affairs and pulling myself of through the week. The saddest part is that I scheduled my mental breakdown for Friday night. I just want to disappear into the air.

I feel like I have a really negative relationship with my ADHD. As a child it really irritated and stressed out my mother so as soon as I mellowed out a little bit I always thought of it as a really negative thing. I still worry that if I talk too much or too fast, or forget something around her she'll get really annoyed or be angry with me. I’m 26 weeks and have been having sharp, stabbing pain in my abdomen - basically right down the line below my belly button. It hurts like when you’ve waited too long to pee and is worse when I bend over or sit up in bed or when baby is kicking hard. It feels like I have to pee, even after I’ve just gone. Anyone else? Meaning to say, e.g.:
Candidate A with 95% util and metrics rating commensurate.

Let's say other factors are constant, will A and B receive same AIP or not?
