My company won't give my designer the art director title she deserves because of the association of the word "director". I've explained to them an AD isn't a director level job like a CD is, but they're just so hung up on the word that they're not budging, saying that her having a title with the word "director" would be confusing for some. FML.

But, they've said I could give her any manager level title she wants. What title would you suggest that aligns to AD that I can give her?
