Current B4 senior getting promo’d to manager. Have an offer to join a smaller firm (BDO, Grant Thornton, etc) as a Senior consultant for 1 year with expectation that I’d promo to manager next year. New salary would be higher even as a senior vs what I’d make as B4 manager. New B4 salary would be 105k. New salary trajectory is 110k this year to 120+ next year. What do I give up by leaving B4?

I’ve done really well in my 2 years with my current big 4 firm and am coming up for promotion in July. I am sitting on an offer with a step up in title and 40% pay increase. They say grass is not greener on the other side (hello unlimited PTO and all the other terrible comments I’ve read for new firm. Guess who 😂😅) but it’s hard to justify not moving.
