Has anyone moved from Accenture Federal to CGI Federal at Manager/Senior Manager level? Looking at Strategy/Organizational Change Management roles, and curious to know if you feel that compensation and benefits were worth it when measured against your actual experience once you started working with CGI. (I understand that some of it depends on the account you're on, the team you have, etc., just trying to decide if it's worth considering.) Thanks!

$1.4M, 36 Y/O, white male, avg week 45h or so, around 60-70h during the rare extreme busy times.
I made most of my money in my first 7 years as an IC at MSFT before switching to startups, from appreciation on my condo which I bought as soon as I could afford it, and from maxing out my 401k contribution every single year.
About $8M (slightly above or below depending on stock market fluctuations), 65 yo white male (immigrant to the US, now naturalized as a citizen), 40 hours per week. Yes, of course I can retire any day if I want ($8m is plenty FYM+!) But I like my job and love my team so I sure hope to be able to continue for a while!-)
Y, we also have an official employee group, "greyglers", advocating for issues meaningful to us not-so-young (just like other groups do for employees who are, say, native American, or trans, and so on). Greyglers was co-founded by vint Cerf soon after he joined, and he's still quite active in the group.
I’ve clearly made some poor choices 😳😭

I'd want to know the gender of people too.. Income disparity is harsh :/
Actually SSE1, depends on the state. In some states assets prior to marriage remain separated from joint assets during marriage.

I've worked at the company for over 14 years. Vast majority of my total comp goes into investments rather than buying things. My primary residence is a condo I bought over 10 years ago for around 300k. Bought my first car (used!) just last year after having my first child. Live a fairly modest lifestyle, relative to how much I make.
House, and stocks (index ETFs), have all gone up in value. My investment portfolio has been 95% stocks, 5% bonds.
So, luck and timing and living somewhat modestly?

Depends on season. Anywhere from 10 to 90 of effort, only 40 of pay.
