Hello, I’m an Executive with Insperity Business Solutions. Between our software, service team, and electronic onboarding, we are all about streamlining our clients processes. Your new hires are provided a link to complete their onboarding, I-9, W4, as well as handbook to name a few. Each ee also has an Ap which allows them to make any changes during employment , address, deductions, time & attendance, as well as download W2’s. Let me know if you have any questions. You should talk to Paylocity about their onboarding. I’ve used it for 5 years now. It really is a great product.

We like it for payroll but not for anything else. It is pretty slick for that but separately using Bamboo and Paylocity I do two onboard tasks to the new hire.

I’m only a few weeks into the in-house world and I have to say that it kicks ass. I get to spend real time learning about how our business works without worrying about billable hours. I’m sure I’ll become more jaded as I go on (as lawyers do) but I want to take a moment to appreciate it.

Thoughts on exiting to SAAS sales? Currently at a boutique in a niche practice area (7.5YOE, $270K TC, 190 base, 80 bonus) but being recruited to a Series C tech that is providing digital solution to our advisory model. Have you ever changed your mind a week after turning down the job offer? It’s so hard when you’ve got small children getting sick all the time and you want to start fresh with no PTO.

But I just called their HR Dept to ask if the job is still available. They just signed a contract with a temp agency. However, they’re looking into reversing it and will let me know.
Where would I go from here??? I’d essentially be giving my boss less than a week’s notice. And I look flippant. :(

Am I wrong in thinking that failing to follow up with a candidate after the initial phone screen (not the interview) is not a deadly sin? We talk to 30-40 people every week, and as much as we try, some people (especially the ones who show negative attitudes) do not hear back from us.

I'm frustrated. Everywhere I've worked I've gotten great reviews and even leadership awards. At my last company my boss was promoted to CAO. She hired a director but made her VP of HR at hire due to someone leaving. VP ran 6 HR directors out of the co (we all left without jobs lined up). After I left my team quit & the CAO was fired.
