I have joined PwC in Dec'21. I'm not feeling mentally well, I'm in a different state where I don't know whether I should continue this job or not. I want to resign and want to give sometime to myself otherwise I'm inching towards mentally unfit condition. I have no interest left in anything right now. Just want peace for sometime.
But before resign I want to try sabatical leave, is it possible in PwC AC Bangalore? I'm in my probation period.

Thanks in advance. If anyone know, please respond.

How long do you think about quitting a job before you actually make the move and do it? I’ve been going back and forth for the past couple of months but I haven’t been able to solidify another job yet. I just feel like I am losing steam and I’m not sure how much longer I can hold on but then I feel paranoid about being unemployed for a long period of time.

Hear me out, my dream goal in Big Four is to organize a Big Four golfing tournament. The best players from each firm go head to head. Obviously too ambitious to do a national level tourney, but I’ll settle for a market-based tourney, to see who is the best Big Four team out of the Houston market for example. Golfers out there, what do you think?

Please don’t say do what I am passionate about because clearly I don’t know what it is and I am in search of it

How bad is it to get only a 8% raise for senior promotion year?

Bit of background: I recently turned 25, have been an auditor now for 4 years (same firm from intern to staff to senior), and have given my firm and my clients 110% of me at all times.
Lately, I’ve been wanting to quit altogether (burning out) and try out a career that has always been more of a “dream”. I can’t be the only one feeling this way so I’m reaching out to my people - is this just a weird quarter-life crisis or is it actually valid & reasonable?

I set up an interview last week with a company for tomorrow morning, two 45 minute interviews back to back. Of course, today I heard back from my current company I would be getting a raise after having pay frozen since May. Unless it was a very very very good offer, I’m not sure I see myself leaving anymore. The interview is at 8:30 tomorrow morning - what would you in my position? I don’t want to break the connection with this company as I don’t want to have to rule them out in the future
