My friend is trying to decide if he wants to attend Kellogg this fall (from South Korea) or just continue his job and re apply to business school for next fall or two years from now. So I am seeing this guy, and whenever we go out for dinner we split the bill 50/50. Like he doesn't even offer to pay. But when we go out for drinks after dinner he pays. He's currently doing his MBA so loans and told me that money was always tight when he was a kid so I get it, but sometimes it's hard not to compare to my ex who used to pay for everything when we went out. Recently decided to pursue an MBA. I went to a state school in NY, where I triple majored in Accounting, Finance and Business Analytics. Graduated with a 3.25 gpa. Still a few years away from applying, but wanted to know if the low GPA and going to a non prestigious undergrad program would be a deal breaker to try to get into an M7 or T15 program? People joining TCS at Senior Consultant designation with 12 years exp, with no MBA degree or even from with exceptional experience in niche technologies is truth these days. Existing employees with 20 years exp working on presales consulting, winning millions of dollars of projects in RFPs, delivering multi million dollar assignments are still not getting promoted and paid in peanuts Makes me wonder if companies are really enjoying so called great resignation period.
