What is your salary(India) as a BA with 9 years of work experience? Thoughtworks

Have any beside nurses attempted to transfer to an outpatient/care coordinator position? Did you get a pay cut? Was it worth it? Any regrets? Cost of living is crazy these days. I got offered a position and the cut was 8 dollars less per hour. I felt offended. I was basically a new grad salary.

Looking for some career advice: fairly happy with my current situation at KPMG but the workload has been unusually high recently and likely will be for a while. Decent salary just not where I think I should/could be and raises/promotions are typically only once a year. My team is great and I actually enjoy the work, but I’ve been contemplating whether I should apply to MBB or other top consulting firms for the chance at a much higher salary. I had an interview where I asked what the salary range is, and the person refused to answer the question. They said they would have the recruiter reach out to me. Is that common? I feel as if I’ve lost the advantage if the recruiter emails and asks what my expectations are.

Anybody had experience helping spouse or close friend get over the mental block of investing, due to their growing up poor/having to support their parents and thus being unnecessarily conservative with money? Caveat that they work in finance/investment so they understand fully that historically stock markets have done ~10% return on an annualized basis. But their excuse is since they work in investment, they’ve seen too many trades/funds blowing up etc.

How, how in the world have all you trial lawyers gone to trial and prepared accordingly when you still have an active caseload. Every time I have a trial come up and start preparing I pray it’s pushed out so I can have the capacity to truly prepare when it comes back but each time another comes around it’s the same. In CA and civil trials are becoming more rare and I want the experience but then when it’s happening I’m praying it goes away. How am I ever gonna get this experience at this rate?
