Are FAANG companies really the place to be for SWE’s? I want to work for one but I’m worried about culture & work/life balance.
For my 10+ year producers out there - regardless of coast or contientent - what would be your dream gig?
Who's in your top 3? Agency vs Platform vs Production Company vs Client?
The self-awareness it takes to say “no pun intended”‘ after you say the pun… is the same self-awareness it takes to refrain from using the pun.
What’s the point?
Puns are always intended.
Sounds like all of the Big 4 are ramping up pay (audit, tax, and especially accounting advisory and M&A). Anyone know if we’ll see similar increases in forensics? What about at boutiques and consulting firms?
One of my colleagues is such a saint that she takes her middle school students out on the town one Friday a month to do something- go for tacos, see a movie- because she said they never get those
Would you date a sugar daddy / mommy if they were insanely rich, but also much older than you?
I'm being forced to write copy and make a social media calendar for my company suddenly after a bunch of consultants took over.
I understand everything is a learning curve but it's high time they hire resources.
Pointing my copy mistakes all the time won't help a multi million $ company.
Is there a way to explain this professionally that my forte is design and not social media management.
They want two weeks content in advance sure I can visualize moodboard and
Some of them play it off so well though. LOL!!
Did more money lead to more happiness?
Anyone here remain in their relationship for the kids?? I’m miserable and idk how much more I can take.
Hey - I’ll likely be joining ACN Bloom as a Digital Strategy Manager level. I think HR told me it’s the equivalent of “Senior Manager” at other firms. Does that sound right?
Darden decisions today. Anyone hear back?
Has anyone heard of Kuba Pay?
Anyone a UX Researcher? I am looking to pivot into that field and would love guidance, and/or a mentor, to help guide me in the best direction.
I feel like I wouldn't get many tips as a server because I'm a guy, is this really true or am I just making it up?
It's actually a lot of work to manage our online communities, but some people think my job sounds "fun" because I "get to" surf the internet for a living, if they only knew...

I’m an aspirating entrepreneur building a chrome budgeting extension (similar to honey, except we show you your personal finances instead of coupons, so you can make informed shopping decisions). I have been in HR for 3 years, doing full cycle with a focus on sourcing and branding. My background is in marketing and I’m struggling with how to further develop in HR. I loved all my classes pertaining to HR in college but never saw myself going this route back then.
What trainings have you done and do you think it was beneficial in growing your career AND skills?

Ok talent nerds, how are those quarterly headcount deadlines coming along and how many times have you practiced telling your stakeholders some of them might have to be pushed back?
I’m curious to know how many job requisitions a typical full time recruiter has? My job is a hybrid role and I am currently managing 30 reqs. Recruiting is supposed to take up to 10% of my workload. Am I being given too much responsibility?
My company tasked me with finding a new applicant tracking system. Currently, I've counted about 100 different companies with very little information on their sites.
I need some real user recommendations. We do high volume recruiting for mostly manufacturing with 5 locations that average about 20-40 applications a week.
Do you really enjoy your ATS and why?
I am at the 2nd round of my interview for the Recruiter Position for a German Company in Germany. I want to ask what should I prepare for this interview and which situations could they give me to check my Recruitment knowledge? Basic questions have been asked in the first interview.
So my daughter is starting at Deloitte in two weeks and as a in house recruiter all I have to say is their onboarding is AWFUL. I would expect more from this organization. She is so confused about where she is suppose to be her first week. Emails from corporate tell her she needs to be in Chicago but then local emails tell her there is a new hire event happening in her local office. Deloitte do better. lol. You need to assign some kind of onboarding person to the new hire cohorts.
Hi all! Please could you share some advice for someone looking to become recruiter?
Is there a difference between working in-house or agency?
Hello! I have a two part question: 1) is it worth it to obtain an SHRM specialty credential if I don’t have the broader SHRM certification? 2) has anyone gotten the People Analytics or Talent Acquistion credential? If so, how valuable was it from a learning perspective? Do you feel it significantly contributed to your knowledge in either area? Thank you!
I have a university recruiter who works under me. There only job is to source candidates. Approximately how many candidates do you think this person should be able to source per day/week. Our main method is LinkedIn Recruiter.
Anyone getting unusual amounts of no call no show by recruiters? Wondering which agencies are the best out there to work with (no Aerotek / Robert Half). Really just looking for a solid recruiter who will actually look at my resume and not just Boolean search key words.
Hi all, I am looking for some advise, I am looking to get out of recruiting. I have an MBA and got my scrum master certification. I am interested in non technical management positions. Please help and thank you
Hello recruiters! Any of you looking to fill remote benefit roles? Im looking to transition to a new company.
Is industry/corporate recruiting so much more boring than agency? I feel like almost everyone transitions at one point and I am only 2 years into recruitment and presented with a few opportunities to transition into internal recruiting but I don’t want to make the wrong decision
Hi 👋 I’m tasked with being one of the interviewers for our next VP of Client Services. I’d like to focus on behavioral questions, people motivation, etc. to really dig into their psychology and approach when working with/managing/motivating others. Are there any resources or questions you could point me to please? Thank you for your help!!!
Need some advice/guidance. I’m currently with a F500 company, on a great team with decent benefits, A+ WLB, but my entire 8 yrs of recruiting has been retail/hourly roles, and recently have been wanting to expand my arsenal & get into tech/engineering. I currently make a comp of about 90k. Amazon recruiter reached out & they accepted my 150k comp expect & I’m now at the “on-site” interview portion. Recruiting is for engineering or IT roles. Is the Amazon WLB really that bad? It’s a big increase.
For those in high volume recruiting... imagine you were given a blank canvas and unlimited budget. You could use whatever tech, team set up of recruiters & sourcers, marketing strategy you wanted what would be your ask?
I have been working with a company for about 6 years as a Recruiter but I don’t feel I’m gaining the best recruiting experience due to so many limitations our company has. I’ve had to teach myself Boolean searching to be more active in recruiting. I have not had the luxury of someone to truly mentor me into a Recruiter so I’m trying to find any way I can learn and be more employable. Any advice? I’ve obtained my SHRM-CP, CIR and am in the process of a the PRC. What else can I utilize or do? Thx!
