What's the typical raise from A2 tax to S1?
EY Boston office 🐠 has anyone done a rotational program? I have done two winter internships with the assurance team and want to try switching to SaT consulting. Want to see if anyone has done it before. Did tax with PwC and didn't find it to be a good fit for me.
Would love to connect with someone!
P.S. don't have access to company bowl so posting here (some technical issue) and this is a duplicate post coz I messed up posting earlier 💀😅

Let's say you are making 83K as a Senior 2. Let's also say you come in as a Senior 2 at the new firm.
Do you have a $$ figure in mind? Is 105-110 realistic?
Yeah 110 that's probably realistic for a senior 2. Also depends on which firm obviously, but I dont think 105-110 would be crazy.
For context I know of Phds in transfer pricing who started as a senior 1 at 120k in SJ/ SF. But phds in TP tend to make a fair amount more than say ITS core. Dont know much about transaction tax.
FYI, I have heard that firms like Baker McKenzie make quite a bit more, like 160-180k in SF for a Senior 2 equivalent
Gotcha ok so it is possible then. I was thinking of just going to another Big 4 but if I am getting paid 40K more at a different firm I feel like it's a no brainer at that point
