Great opportunity just came up for me literally the day my bonus hit my bank account - how long should I wait before pursuing other positions outside of the bank?
Typical salary for senior strategist at a creative agency in Chicago? What should I go for? What would be too low to accept as an offer?
Thinking of moving to a city with a much higher cost of living. Deloitte does not adjust salary at all, right? So even though I live in Chicago, I make around the same as my NYC and SF counterparts?
3rd year at a big firm, within Vault top 60, but in a smaller market with a very high cost of living (I don’t want to say where because it’s identifying). Starting salary is 110k, with 5k raises for each promotion level and bonuses are small, which is on par with market (maybe slightly under). The wrinkle: bigger-market partners farm out work to us at higher rates. Is it unfair US associates are paid differently but we all do the same work? Should I just move to a bigger market?
What would be the target base salary for a corporate strategy position in the TMT industry? Bonus? Thanks.
What is the typical salary for a consultant at guidehouse? Anyone know? Had a friend joining with a few years of experience and is worried they lowballed him in the offer.

New to this stuff: should I be contributing to ROTH 401K, or traditional 401K? I think I'll be in a much higher tax bracket in the future, so I should contribute solely to ROTH?
This has fired up staunch Conservatives (not just MAGA) to vote Trump in November. Definitely an unfortunate situation for RBG to have passed, but Republicans nationwide have a newfound motivation to re-elect Trump

For those who were promoted to partner from senior manager at EY - did you still receive your yr end bonus for your last SM yr?
So, Trump is giving corporations a 20% tax break and is taking away the tax benefit of contributing to your 401k. So he effectively took our money and gave it to corporations. Take that middle class.
So bummed - had first round interview w/ BCG and just received an email that I didn't make the cut. I thought it went really well and the note came as a surprise. How do you get over this and move on?
Curious what other companies have communicated in the way of return to office dates/timeline and what part of the country you’re in?

Didn’t feel WFH gave me extra time during the day till I find out that commute time saved is made up by watching the news for 1-2 hours a day now…I’ve never followed the news so closely before.
Up for promotion to manager, but bored of current market offering. Given politics of changing, is it better to try and switch after getting promoted or try now while at SC and risk being passed up?
