What kind of general investments can an auditor do? Index funds? Sweep Accts?Bonds? Been thinking about doing some investments, but don’t want to worry about independence. Any opinion is appreciated

As an associate/senior it’s pretty easy to invest in stuff since you don’t have office / national restrictions. As long as you don’t work on what you audit/it’s affiliate, you should be fine. I found when I was senior ETFs are the easiest to figure out if you can invest in or for prospective clients to match (or not match) to the independence confirmation

Thanks PwC 1! how much time would you spend in a week to do your investment stuff? (Since you are doing it yourself, just wanna have an idea of time commitment)

Don’t mind me! Just bookmarking this out of interest post (thinking of an index fund investment soon)

VSTAX baby

Thanks a lot for sharing !

Milbank matched DPW scale. Plus/minus 50% for associates with above 110% or below 80% “utilization” through 9/6 (including pro bono and legal work for firm). To be paid by Oct 30. December bonus expected to be no less than last year. Good for management and consistent with (imho) strong leadership during COVID.

I had my final round of interview over a 45 min coffee conversation. It kicked off with the questions I had for them and there were none that was directed my way and the time was up. Im not sure which direction this concluded in but they said they would debrief and touch base early next week. I’m worried.
